It's late

Shakin’ Stevens released a song called ‘It’s late’, but I doubt it was about his wife or girlfriend having a trauma about missing a period and then the stark reality hits home that she is about to give birth to the offspring of a denim clad welsh man doing Elvis impersonations...

My mind is wandering...

It's half past three in the morning. I didn't go to bed last night until 8am this morning - my bodyclock is very confused indeed... its like a timebomb which due to ethical reasons insists on repeatedly resetting itself.

Of course I could use this time to write some great new material seeing as I am so wide awake. But no. Instead I am playing computer games and watching DVD's - I could do that any time.

Still, managed to book some more good gigs - one for this evening (which by my reckoning is tomorrow, even though it isn't) at The Queens Head, and one for the 19th September in Scarborough, the day after my debut appearance in Middlesbrough... bit of a mini North East tour.

As I write I am downloading the Corky & The Juice Pigs classic, 'I'm the only gay eskimo'...

Anyway, it's late.
